Spotlight: YOU ARE A SHINING STAR!

Some of you may be new to this sort of communication avenue with the Davis blog newsletter and others...well let's say you've been hanging around the Davis' a lot and have made your share of journey with our group trips. So welcome newbies and old hats...this blog is for us!

Because on this trip, we have a much smaller and intimate group. Yes, how special is that! Roger and I wanted to do two things...be a bit more casual for one (we are going to the beach after all) and secondly, we talked about being more personable and hoping to get some special moments to share. So my co-hort and partner of 20 years, co-editor Roger will be providing his own take of blog articles about each of our guest who will be in attendance. Oh and by the way, Alex will not be refunding you of your decision to change your mind if you are fearing Roger's creative literary articles....so this might be a good time to bribe Roger instead. Here's a 20 year anniversary hint for you..... he loves Bombay Sapphire Gin Martinis.

Wow, we are so touched and honored to have you join us! Thanks so much for helping us celebrate our 20th anniversary! Anniversary…what? Celebrating an Anniversary, wait a minute, you thought this was a vacation getaway. What do you mean you’re confused … thought you signed up for a relaxing lounge in an infinity pool & warm Caribbean Sea, drinking & eating, sunbathing getaway vacation? Well fear not, you have and doing just what your heart desire will be the theme of this trip. However for about 30 minutes, our 20th Anniversary will be spotlighted and we would love to have you join us to witness this occasion. But more on this in a future blog article. So stay tuned!

Yes, can you believe it...2-0, count them twenty years. Though this may be a landmark anniversary for us, this will also be a landmark anniversary for many of you as well. Many individuals in attendance will be celebrating as you have been there with us through the years! Was it the Mahana Nai’a Catamaran on the inner isle of Molokini Crater in Maui back on October 20, 1990....okay, perhaps you were too drunk or now too old to recall? Yeah, totally understand!
As many of you know after hanging out with the Davis’, we will use any occasion to celebrate.There was our 5th anniversary in 1995 at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Vegas, not to be forgotten of course was our 10th in 2000 when after popular demands, we returned to Maui with some 66 of Snow Whites Elves (oh my do you have to ask?) and just 5 years ago in 2005 our 15th anniversary was celebrated on the Celebrity Summit on a Caribbean Cruise. When does the time go and more importantly when does the fun begin!?

SOON... our 20th, will be in at the Riviera Maya Resort of the NOW Jade Riviera Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico and YOU are there - YAHOO! So allow us to take this opportunity to thank you and also quickly name off our renewal party and our guests who will be joining us this coming March in 2011.
